Hair transplantation causes no labor loss; the patient can return to work in 1-2 days after the operation. On the recipient site, punctate red scars and thin scabs form at the bottom of the transplanted follicles that last 7 to 10 days. In 10 days, the intensity of these thin scabs rapidly decreases to one tenth compared to the first day. The redness fades from the third day on after the procedure. When FUE method is used, the hair on the donor site grows long enough to cover the site of extraction by tenth day after the operation.
An exactly normal appearance is achieved after the 10th day. Hair transplantation operation does not require any long-term post-operation care.
